Location permission
If you choose “Find my Qibla now,” your browser asks for permission. The latitude and longitude it returns are used in memory to calculate the Qibla bearing and distance. They are not saved by this page.
Manual information
Coordinates you type are used only for the current calculation. Refreshing or closing the page clears that in-memory state.
Device orientation
On supported phones, the page may read direction sensor data after you interact with the finder. The sensor value is used only to rotate the arrow on screen.
External services
Fonts may be delivered by Google Fonts, and when a map is displayed its tiles are requested from the map provider. This page itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics, sign-in or contact form.
Advertising and cookies
To keep the finder free, this site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. If ads are enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies — including the DoubleClick/DART cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services in Google’s advertising policies. The Qibla calculation itself never uses cookies and works the same whether ads are shown or not.
Your choices
You can deny location access and use a city bearing or enter coordinates manually. You can also revoke location and motion permissions in your browser settings at any time.
